While talking about your problems can feel overwhelming, having a steadfast and friendly guide can help you feel comfortable and at ease with this process. Together, we make a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment where you can feel free to be yourself and begin healing.

Working together, we create a holistic approach (drawing on approaches such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, SFBT, self-compassion, and attachment theory) that is a custom fit for you, building on your strengths and addressing your needs. Regardless of whether you need help healing trauma, stress, anxiety, or depression; managing OCD; grieving loss; dealing with divorce; increasing personal well-being; navigating life transitions; addressing relationship issues; or gaining deeper personal insight, I will be with you every step of the journey. Along the way, we’ll discover laughter, resilience, and evidence-based tools that can help you face life with a new sense of optimism. Hopefully, as we work together you’re able to see the world a little more clearly, find meaning in the wake of confusion, and learn to take back control of your life.

I graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO# 11838) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA# 10004795). I am also an EMDR therapist.

When not in the therapy chair, I find fresh energy exploring nature, feasting with family and friends, and working with my hands. I also enjoy reading good books, deep discussions, and learning new skills.

I provide virtual and in-person counselling services to individuals 16 years and older.

"When running on empty isn’t working, when you feel stuck and out of options, I’m here to help you get a leg up, a new perspective, and hope for the future."

I embody a relational approach to therapy with an emphasis on caring over curing. I view each of my clients not as a problem to solve, but as a person with a sacred story to witness. I believe you are the expert of your own story, and my role is to join you as a curious, empathetic sojourner. Together we will co-create a space of safety where deep healing and transformation can occur. I practice a self-psychological therapeutic modality based on the principle that the relationship we build together as therapist and client can become a profound source of healing.

Because of this, I commit to bringing more than just strategies, tools, and homework worksheets to our sessions. While we may incorporate these things as needed, my emphasis lies in offering a safe, non-judgemental connection through attunement, authenticity, and curiosity.

If you’ve ever sat across from a medical professional and felt frustrated like you were just a number, or “they’re just not listening to me!” I would be honoured to be that redemptive counter-experience for you. In our sessions, I strive to help each of my clients feel seen, valued, listened to, understood, and a little less alone in the world. My clients know that they have agency and are in the driver’s seat throughout all of our sessions. My clients also know that they sit across from a real human being. A human who has also suffered, and a person with everyday interests like paddle boarding, swing dancing, and nurturing house plants!

I graduated from the Toronto Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (CRPO# 13761) and I am a member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists. My therapy training has also equipped me to integrate spirituality into our sessions according to a client’s preference and interest.

I offer individual and couples therapy, frequently addressing abuse, trauma, attachment issues, codependency, boundary setting, relationship issues, life transitions, divorce care, emotional regulation difficulties, grief & loss, spiritual abuse, and anxiety. In addition to Self-Psychology and Relational Therapy, I also draw on therapies including Somatic Experiencing (SE), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive-behavioural Therapy (CBT), and others. For couples, I draw on Imago Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

You’ve most likely been hurt in the context of relationship, so let’s now create a relationship together that can be a source of healing! I would consider it an honour and a privilege to hold space for your story and travel alongside you in your healing journey.

“When new cords of connection are woven, our souls begin to stir, our hearts begin to sing and we begin to hope that we can be in good connection with others and, consequently, become more truly ourselves.”
